OUR TEAM
We are value creators. We are a seasoned team of industry experts who are devoted to creating and maximizing value for our investors, employees, residents, and partners. Our founders come from established construction, design, development and real estate investment management platforms.
We build housing communities of enduring value in Maricopa County, Arizona. We do this by pushing the envelope of our own comfort within every facet of our execution pathway and by challenging many of the established norms of the development industry.
David is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Hyphen Development and leads all acquisition, development, capital markets, pre-management, and asset management functions.
David has developed and built more than 7,700 units and bought, renovated, and sold over 5,000 units.
David and Les Litwin partnered in an acquisition rehab platform called Mode Apartments where they bought, renovated, and sold several smaller in-fill apartments in Phoenix Arizona.
Previously as co-founder and Principal of Trillium Residential, where David headed up all acquisition, development, capital markets, pre-management, and asset management functions. Trillium won numerous accolades and awards and developed 3,219 units. He was also the co-founder of Magellan Real Estate Investments, acquiring 4,457 units, developing 3,847 units, as well as approximately 1,000,000 square feet of commercial office and a 1,240-acre master-planned community in Indio Ca.
David graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Technology in Project Management and a minor in Economics. He resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with his wife, and they have four children. David enjoys photography, food, and hockey.
Jeff is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Hyphen Development and oversees all design, construction, and renovation.
Prior to joining Hyphen, Jeff spent six years overseeing the design and construction of $600 million of multifamily projects for Edwards Companies, a vertically integrated real estate development company. As Founder, Chairman and President of Summit Builders Construction, Jeff served as General Contractor on multifamily, student housing, senior living, hotels, industrial, airports and retail projects, completing over $3.2 billion of projects across the country.
Jeff graduated from Miami University with a BS in Business Marketing, and he currently holds contracting licenses in Arizona, California, Florida, Kentucky, and Louisiana. Jeff lives in Phoenix with his wife, and they have four children.
